Dear Vendor,

The 2016 Belize Day in the Park Festival will be held on Sunday, August 7th at Hawthorne Race Course.
The overall response to Hawthorne Race Course continues to be positive so it was chosen as the venue
for our 2016 festival.  

Participation requirements are as follows:

•	Completed application with all appropriate fees

•	Village of Stickney Temporary Permit for all vendors

•	Liability insurance for all food vendors (Fee waived if proof of insurance provided)

•	Proof of liability insurance must be submitted with completed application

•	No sale of alcoholic beverages (Hawthorne Race Course holds the liquor license for the event. 
        Sale of alcoholic beverage is limited to Hawthorne Race Course and their approved vendors) 

•	Non-food vendors need to use 10 x 10 tents.  Food vendors are allowed to use 10 x 20 tents.
        Each vendor will only be provided with 10 feet width for front portion of booth space.

•	Cargo van or small U-Haul box truck to gain access to the in-field through the tunnel.

•	Tent and equipment set up scheduled for Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 11 am to 3pm.

•	All applications must be submitted by June 30th, 2016 to avoid a late fee of $25.00.  

•	Cancellations prior July 15th are subject to a $50 processing fee.  

•	Cancellations after July 15th, 2016 are subject to a $150.00 processing fee for non-food and
        $295.00 processing fee for food vendors.  

•	Return of completed application with all the appropriate registration fees in the form of a
        check or money order payable the Belize Educational Fund and Day in the Park Committee to 
        reserve your space. 

•	This year we are introducing a flexible payment plan option which will allow vendors to make
        payment in any increment in order to secure their place for 2016 event.  If you chose the 
        flexible payment plan, you must provide a payment with your completed application no later 
        than May 7th and must be paid in full by July 7th, 2016 in order to take advantage of this 
        payment option.
